Learn from a local astronomer and astro-photographer Bill Carter about the bright and distant objects you see. Have you wondered what are they? Is it a nebula, galaxy or supernova? Also learn how to use a compass and a sky-map so you can enjoy the mystery of the dark skies.
PREVIOUS GUESTS - Storyteller Richard Halsey of the Chaparral Institute illuminated the years surrounding California in 1850's and the adventures of the great Grizzly Bear Hunter, James Capen, known as "Grizzly Adams", and Nancy Conney, Director of the Sky Hunters Raptor Rehabilitation and Education, brought her raptors! We learned about their habits, what they eat and what to do if you find injured or orphaned wild animals.
